GORJE VILLAGE
There are two shops in the vicinity, open 7 days a week, a baker, post office and a typical Slovenian “gostilna”. Nearby there is Vintgar Gorge, which is a must see, as it is one of Slovenija’s most beautiful natural tourist attractions.
There is also a church of st. Jurij in the centre of the village.

In general, the village of Gorje is an ideal starting point for ramblers, hikers, trekkers and cyclists, all of whom will be charmed by the exquisite walks in the Radovna Valley, the fishermen will find good catch in the crystal clear river Radovna. All lovers of peace and tranquillity as well as adrenalin junkies will find the area invigorating.
In the winter, snow lovers will be delighted. Skiing, cross-country skiing, tour skiing, walks on the snow topped hills…you can do all this in the village of Gorje and its surrounding areas.
